Air brush tan

I went while I was up in Tallahassee last week and had it done. I felt a little weird stripping down in front of the lady, but I'm sure she sees butts all the time. Anyway, it is amazing and looks awesome. I already was kind of tan but this made a ton of difference and it won't give you wrinkles. Now, I just need to find a place down here that does it for that cheap. I recommend it to any of you ladies looking for a little color.
I went up to see everyone in Tallahassee because Alan had to go to San Francisco for business. I told him not to come back without a present...only jokingly. Well, he sure did a good job. Some lady conned him into a facial spa package with some facial peel made from whatever they managed to get out of the Dead Sea. He spent way to much money, but I did enjoy my peel last night as a nice end to my day.

Where did they go?

I have put Reis down, am having a cocktail and went into the bathroom to wash my face. As I was staring at the mirror, I was thinking to myself....where in the heck did my boobs go? Oh yeah, down by my waist, how could I forget? Not to be a Debby Downer to all those expecting ladies, but things just ain't the same after kids. I am not looking too hot anyway right now, but before kids, they at least were where the writing on my shirt was. Now, as I am looking at myself in my ratty Virginia t-shirt that someone gave me when we lived there they are below the "Virginia" and I am not happy. After the husband and I address some more important bills, I am heading to the Dr. Not to be over the top but come on, at least be above the writing....

Lazy Days by the Pool

This past weekend my mom, Martha, and Mary Beth came for a visit. It was nice to be able to just hang out and have 2 grandmas to help with him....I.E....get up with him. We spent Friday afternoon at the pool where Reis decided it was too much to take in so he napped. He looks like an old man in his chair or something with his belly all pushed out. Tough life my little boy leads.

Spa Day...hip, hip hooray!!

Today I used my Mother's Day present and had a massage, pedi, and facial and it was heaven. I asked them if I had to leave or if I could just move in. As I was relaxing in all my spa goodness, I was thinking...they should just have a spa where moms could go to take naps. How relaxing is the room they put you in? I would pay just to go and take a hour nap in peace. A little rub here and there would be an added extra!

Another thing

My son will not stay away from Brutus' dog food. I only think he has eaten maybe 2 pieces...dog food is like all protein right? Only kidding:)

Ahh, the South

After being here for about a month and living in the South the majority of my life, I have come to the conclusion that we are just nicer people. It happened for the 3rd time today. I have been to 3 area Publix stores with Reis and every sweet, little old man or woman has offered to give my little man a cookie from the bakery...who knew? I couldn't even get my deli meat at the commissary without someone huffing and puffing and complaining that it wasn't sliced thin enough. Come on people, it's all going to the same place isn't it? And another thing, I was on my way to the store and it was raining. I turned my wind shield wiper on and it literally flipped the opposite way and wouldn't work. I was scared it would just fly off so I just kind of drove blindly until I got to the store. I went and tried to turn it around and being a chick and not having an ounce of sense when it comes to things like that, I could not figure it out to save my life. So, a nice man came over, asked me if I needed help, flipped the freakin thing the right way and off I went...point proven.

Birthday Surprise from Memaw...my little soulja

When Memaw kept Reis a couple of months ago, she took some pictures of him and gave them to Alan for his birthday which was a couple of weeks ago. They are adorable so I thought I would share.
