Do I feel guilty...mmmm...no

My birthday is Saturday and always falls either on Thanksgiving or around that time...obviously. I always feel kinda guilty while everyone else is starting their Christmas shopping I am simply spending my birthday loot and shopping for myself. But hey, momma needs some shoes and clothes. So, I shall go forth and not feel guilty. Maybe I will throw in a little Christmas shopping while I am at it...who knows:)

Just because

Husband came home last night with flowers in his hand. I asked him why and he said just because and you had a bad day yesterday too. Thursday was a good day that morning. We went to the design center to pick out stuff for our house. I was hesitant about taking Reis but he did okay mostly because we had researched and knew what we wanted. I guess it was getting him out of his "schedule" or something but by the afternoon, he was being a royal pain in the you know what. He screamed, cried, and whined from about 4-6 that afternoon. Then proceeded to throw all his food on the floor. Which is another topic for discussion. The Dr. said he is perfectly healthy but in the lowest percentile for weight. Maybe because he is so tall. So now, I am paranoid that he is not eating enough. Anyway, back to my original story, he screamed from 4-6 and then I had had enough so I put him to bed around 6. He cried for about 45 minutes and then gave it up. There are just some days when I wish I could crawl into a hole. Alan had plans to go out with his buddies to Winghouse or Boobhouse might be a better description. So, he left and I grabbed some wine and headed for my bed and some reality tv. I gasped when I found out how much the flowers were but they sure did brighten my day.

Here are the cabinets and granite we chose...am very excited;)

Mumbo jumbo

I have a lot going through this brain of mine so let's just rattle them off. I am feeling better but still not completely normal. Actually, I feel pretty much like a hermit. I have not left the house except to go to a few events and simply have not wanted to. I went to the Dr.(a shady one I believe) and he said my 50mg dosage was nothing and should have no side effects whatsoever. Well, NORMALLY I don't wake up with a headache, chills, sweats, dizziness, and nausea. It has gotten better but not completely. It's only been about 2 weeks. I made an appt.(you have to for kids) at the gym tomorrow so maybe my hermit behind will feel better if I force myself to get out.

I ordered Twilight from Amazon and received it on Monday after rave reviews from a few ladies. I am almost halfway through and it's good. I have been looking for something good to read for awhile and a little love story has been a nice getaway.

I was reading Tara's blog about her brother and it got me thinking. I have not been the perfect person with a lot of things in my life and know we need to find a good church here and get ourselves and Reis involved. Heck, maybe I can meet some other moms. But, you cannot justify good things happening in your life as simply luck with no intervention from above. We recently had to write the rest of our earnest money deposit which was $3200 and were going to have to spend another $1000 next week at the design center. With me not working, things get tough at times and husband stresses. It makes me feel helpless because I am not contributing monetarily. Well, when he went to write the check, Kim(our salesperson) said they were offering a new incentive where you don't have to put any money down when going to do your upgrades. So, that is $1000 we don't have to spend. Thank you Lord:)

Tigger, 2 Minnie's, and a Princess

Anna(Minnie), Lexi(Princess), and Reis

Sammy(the 2nd Minnie) and Reis

Reis ready for some loot

My little Tigger

I wasn't able to get them all to stand still but here are a couple pics from last night before we headed off into the neighborhood. I really shouldn't laugh at this but it was funny. I should have gotten a pic of the "men" pushing a stroller with their beer in it. Some of the wives got a little peeved but my husband is pretty good about behaving most of the time so if he works hard all week and wants to have a brew while we walk around the neighborhood I have no problem with it. I couldn't get mad because the sight of it was actually pretty hilarious. Hope everyone had a great time:)

This gets me everytime

What a hottie
